Babies Sing, Babies Dance

Educating Your Whole Child Through Music & Movement

The years between birth and age three are when most children develop and learn more rapidly, efficiently, and joyfully than at any other time. Researchers agree that music and movement have a positive effect on brain development.

Singing, playing and dancing together also nurtures self-esteem and builds bonds between parent and child. Every child should experience the joy, fun and learning which music and movement brings to life.

“Babies Sing, Babies Dance!” is an introduction workshop to child development through creative music & movement. It is based on the Orff-Schulwerk recognition that all children are inherently musical and naturally love to sing, dance and play.

During the workshop you will learn valuable information about the cognitive and physical development of a child from birth to age 3, and how music, dance and creative movement support this development.  The materials and methods presented in the workshop are developmentally appropriate and based on scientific research from pioneering European Early Childhood Music educators and researchers.
